We are passionate about securing health services and programs that support better health outcomes in rural communities.
Creators of Community Ownership (Creators) is a not-for-profit social enterprise that support rural communities across Australia to have access to health and other vital services.
We do this by owning and operating key services and enterprises that benefit the health and welfare of the community in the Bega Valley and other rural communities.
Our journey may be starting in the Bega Valley but our vision is for all rural communities and the people that live in them to have readily accessible services that support them to live happy and healthy lives.
Our values inform and guide our work with communities, service users and the dedicated professionals that support them:
The current model of service provision is failing the more than 7 million Australians who live outside of metropolitan areas.
Now is the time for innovative, new approaches that provide sustainable services alongside guidance from local communities.
Small but mighty is the best way to describe the Creators team who bring together a wealth of experience and expertise to the work of ensuring rural communities have vital services that meet their needs.
Combine this with the skills from community members and our supporters Creators typifies the saying:
'From little things big things grow.'
